Austin and I were at the computer lab on campus when I came across an ad on the local t.v. news station. It was for a piano for $45. I jumped on that immediately. I called my parents and asked them to look at it since it was close to their home. They drove over right away and brought it to their house for a little varnish job. It is turning out so beautifully. I am so grateful to my family for picking up the piano for Austin and I and for fixing it up. I can't wait to get it home!
p.s. Fixing it up included removing 7 pencils, 2 straws, a popsicle stick, a puzzle piece, rhinocerous, 16 cents, a couple of beads, and half of an Easter egg from the piano soundboard and keys. It plays much better now. :)

Congratulations on a new piano!! {and finding it for such a bargain makes it that much better!} I was so happy when I brought our piano home -- and it was not nearly as good of a deal as yours! Looks great, Uncle Merlin!
