We buy the #10 can of ketchup because it's SO much cheaper than retail, so we often have lots on hand. =) One of our fav ketchup recipes is sweet & tangy meatballs. Let me know if you'd like the recipe. Also, did you know that ketchup freezes really well? I freeze it in old peanut butter jars and then just let it sit in the fridge overnight before using it to refill the squeeze bottle, etc. {I don't recommend freezing an unopened container. ;)}Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17411922216376572676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6036590130230026161.post-52609785226114760762010-06-30T18:12:18.956-06:002010-06-30T18:12:18.956-06:00That's awesome! I haven't been reading people's blogs lately, because I have been in the midst of a huge adventure (dishonest landlady, dying car, moving temporarily to a cousin's, finding a new place to live and a new car etc) but I will blog again once I get moved in, but I had to tell you.. I had a friend one time who was a vegetarian. She told me that if you put peanut butter on a hamburger bun instead of the meat, and then add all your cheeseburger fixings, that it tastes like a real hamburger, and NOT like the peanut butter! I'm not sure if I believe her, because I have never been brave enough to try it, but this recipe post reminded me of that conversation! :O)Bethanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04188487400719954470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6036590130230026161.post-20976536559236926372010-06-27T07:20:28.390-06:002010-06-27T07:20:28.390-06:00I have to be honest...I can't imagine a cookie...I have to be honest...I can't imagine a cookie with ketchup in it! :) We'll have to try it out.
